Zhuhai Jianan Group Co., Ltd. was established in 1987. In 1996, it was promoted to a state-level construction enterprise. It is the only municipal state-owned grade A construction general contracting enterprise in Zhuhai City.

The company has a number of contracting qualifications, including grade A general contracting of building construction work, grade A general contracting of municipal public construction work, grade A professional contracting of mechanical and electrical equipment installation, grade A professional contracting of building decoration engineering, grade B professional contracting of building curtain wall engineering, grade B professional contracting of steel structure engineering, grade C professional contracting of foundation and foundation engineering, grade C qualification for real estate development and grade B qualification for architectural decoration design.

The project starts from Meihua Road in the south and goes to Tangjia in the north. Starting from Xingye Road, Xiangzhou District, the line crosses beneath Meihua Road and continues northward into the Fenghuang Mountain via a tunnel. The road comes out at the merging section where it is met by the east and west tunnel. The west tunnel line crosses over Jintang East Road after coming out from the Fenghuang Mountain, with its end connecting Hagongda Road. The east tunnel line passes through Jishan Village and Sun Yat-sen University, and its end connects the intersection of Gangwan Road and Tangdong Road. The total length of the line is about 17 kilometers and the road grade is urban expressway.

The project is divided into 7 sections, from south to north:

The section that passes beneath Meihua Road to the southern entrance/exit of Fenghuang Mountain, with a total length of about 0.89 km, of which the ramp section measures about 0.4 km, the underpass section about 0.1 km, and the main bridge about 0.17 kilometers. The underpass section is two-way road with four lanes while the bridge section connecting the southern entrance/exit of the Fenghuang Mountain is a two-way six-lane road.

The merging section of Fenghuangshan Tunnel consists stars from southern entrance/exit of Fenghuang Mountain and ends at the bifurcation (the northern entrance/exit), measuring about 2.1 km, is a two-bore tunnel with three lanes in each bore and six lanes in total.

The Fenghuang mountain tunnel Y-shaped bifurcation that allows vehicles running from south to north to go along the bridge section and vehicles traveling from north to south to go along the ground-based section, thus realizing road transition based on the existing terrain and using the grade separation design at the entrance/exit. The total length of the ground-based roadbed section measures about 0.4 km while the total length of the bridge section is about 0.6 km. Both sections are two-way roads of four lanes.

The west line of the Fenghuangshan Tunnel runs from the northern end of the bifurcation (the southern entrance/exit of the tunnel’s west line) to the northern entrance/exit of the tunnel’s west line. It an approximately 5.8-kilometer-long two-bore tunnel with each bore comprising two lanes.

The section from west line exit of Fenghuangshan Tunnel to the Hagongda Road begins at the northern entrance/exit of the tunnel’s west line, running through the two-way four-lane overpass across the Jintang East Road and connecting to Hagongda Road. The length of the road is approximately 0.9 km.

The east line of the Fenghuangshan Tunnel runs from the northern end of the bifurcation (the southern entrance/exit of the tunnel’s east line) to the northern entrance/exit of the tunnel’s east line, where it meets the excavated tunnel section. The length of the Fenghuangshan tunnel section is about 4.3 kilometers. It is a two-bore tunnel with each bore comprising four lanes.

Fenghuangshan east line exit connects to Gangwan Road section, running from Baipu Road to Tangdong Road section, with a length of about 0.9 kilometers. The section from Baipu Road to Shanfang Road is a framework section that rises into the ramp section after passing Shanfang Road, and then connects to Gangwan Road on the ground, finally arriving at Tangle Road, the project’s designated end for the east line. The framework section is a two-way four-lane road. The main construction works include: road engineering, bridge engineering, tunnel engineering, pipeline engineering, lighting engineering, traffic engineering, surveillance engineering, greening, landscape engineering, etc. The total investment of the project is approximately 6.4 billion yuan.
